［ Zig-zag Mountain villa ］

Mountain is the great sculpture of the earth.
Mountain landscape gifts you the extraordinary scene and experience in your life.

You may know the skill to walk diagonally on the slope of the mountain as the health-friendly method.
It is to utilize the entire surface of the slope to enjoy the mountaineering.
The concept of the project is [Zig-zag Mountain villa] which inspired from the methodology of mountaineering.
The main wall has been designed in zig-zag shape to sort the entire site and surrounding nature into each character.
The wall cuts the scene of mountain nature to collect the beauty of Wadano area.
It is the time to enjoy the art of earth in Hakuba.

Founder and Principal Architect at TAG design

Jumpei SHIRAI is the founder and the charactoctered architect of TAG design after the international experiences in Japan, China and Vietnam. The global practice expands to Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri-Lanka, Ghana etc.

The design philosophy is “definition of form”. His significant design gifts the sense of unity in nature.
