様々な樹種の木々と豊かな地形が生み出す白馬の森は、雄大で美しい。
その森の木々の上に暮らし、野鳥のように森を愉しむ場所。それがTrees & Birds villaです。
広さや高さ、材質の異なる木箱が集合することで、森の木々に溶け込むような外観を形成しています。
また、各木箱の内部空間も、景色のフレーミングや仕上げ、開放感や天井高さの違いによって、ゆたかな森との関係を
つくり上げています。生活者は、この多様な居場所群を野鳥のように飛び回り、季節や生活に合わせた最適な場所に佇みます。
Trees & Birds villaは、正に、森の魅力を最大化し、森そのものに暮らす、自然と人類の新しい共生環境の提案です。

Daisuke SUGAWARA is Principal architect at SUGAWARADAISUKE Architects after international experiences in Paris and Japan including National Museum and Louis Vuitton projects. His works is awarded more than 30 Prizes in the world and internationally valued as a Young Japanese Architect in the next Generation.

The design philosophy is “Narrative Landscape” to create new relationship between nature and human beings for future.
